GROUP CLASSES 

At Village Youth Conservatory, we believe that learning together fosters community, confidence, and musical excellence. Our small-group "Pods" offer elite instruction in a supportive, boutique setting.

🎶 Beginner Violin Pod (Ages 5+)

The perfect first step into the world of music.

Is your child curious about the violin? The Beginner Pod is a fun, no-pressure introduction to the instrument. In this high-energy group setting, children build a strong musical foundation alongside new friends before moving into private instruction.

  • Who it’s for: Complete beginners ages 5+ 

  • Focus: We cover the building blocks of violin playing, including instrument care, proper posture, introductory rhythm, and basic note reading—all taught through engaging games and group activities.

  • Class Size: Capped at 6 students to ensure every child gets nurturing support.

The Details:

  • When: Sundays, 5:00 PM – 5:45 PM

  • Duration: 8-Week Cycle

  • Start Date: January 11, 2026

  • Tuition: $295 per cycle

Beginner Violin Group Class

🎻 The Chamber Pod (Intermediate/Advanced)

Elevate your musicianship through the art of ensemble playing.

Designed for students who are ready to go beyond solo repertoire, the Chamber Pod focuses on the essential skills of collaborative music-making. Led by our Director-tier faculty, students will learn how to listen, lead, and perform as a cohesive unit.

  • Who it’s for: All String, Wind and Piano instrumentalists playing at Suzuki Book 3 level or higher.

  • Focus: Students will master the subtleties of chamber music, including non-verbal cuing, body language, score reading, dynamic phrasing, and active listening.

  • Class Size: Capped at 5 students to ensure conservatory-level attention.

The Details:

  • When: Thursdays, 5:30 PM – 6:30 PM

  • Duration: 10-Week Cycle

  • Start Date: January 8, 2026

  • Tuition: $395 per cycle

Registration Policies

  • Enrollment: Spaces are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Due to the very small class sizes, we recommend registering early.

  • Commitment: Tuition covers the full 8 or 10-week cycle and is paid in full upon registration.

  • Missed Classes: Because these are progressive group curriculums, we cannot offer make-up classes for student absences.
